- Fee increase analysis for Colorado educator licenses
- This analysis is submitted to the State Board of Education in support of an increase in fees for educator licensure. A fee increase is a critical component to not only addressing the backlog currently pending, but also to resolving this issue and establishing an efficient, streamlined licensing process. Without a fee increase the cash fund will become depleted and positions will need to be eliminated. Commissioner Hammond has also called for an analysis of the educator licensing office with the intent of restructuring the office as necessary to meet the increasing demand., "Date: Friday, February 04, 2011.", Description based on online resource; title from PDF cover; (viewed January 2015)

- Foster care education summary report 2012-2013
- The Foster Care Education Program at the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) was launched in September 2012 and is dedicated to ensuring that students in foster care are successful in school and life. The term "student in foster care" means that an individual has experienced an out-of-home placement and has been enrolled in a Colorado public school. National research shows that children in foster care are at high-risk of dropping out of school and are unlikely to attend and graduate from college. It was with this sense of urgency that CDE launched the Foster Care Education Program to provide a framework and structure to support schools and districts in addressing barriers that impede the education of students in foster care and sets forth a course toward postsecondary success., by Judith Martinez, Sheree Wheeler., "February 2014.", Online resource; title from PDF cover (viewed May 2018)
