This study is a continuation of the work to determine the point of incipient failure and other hydraulic characteristics of riprap for providing criteria for design of stable ripraps in flood control channels. Two sizes riprap materials were tested. One material had a d = 1.0 in. and the other had a d₅₀ = 2.0 in. Both riprap sizes had the ETL 1110-2-120 gradation recommended by WES.
This document was created for small school systems to provide guidelines and recommendations for creating and updating Unified Improvement Plans (UIPs). Staff members in small systems often have questions about how to effectively plan with limited access to state required data metrics or, in some cases, how to write a plan when numbers are too small to be reported publicly. This document provides background information on the flexibility offered to small districts and offers considerations and recommendations for commonly asked questions regarding improvement planning in small systems.

Colorado's comprehensive wildlife conservation strategy (CWCS) has assembled for the first time a catalog on the status of our knowledge about native wildlife, most of which are not commonly hunted or fished, the threats to the habitats upon which they depend, and an articulation of strategies that can be employed to lessen those threats. This CWCS reflects the data that currently exist for Colorado species and their habitats, the collective judgment of many of Colorado's scientists, and also reflects the interests and concerns of citizens with a stake in Colorado wildlife conservation.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has completed a source water assessment for Huerfano County as required by the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act amendments and in accordance with Colorado's Source Water Assessment and Protection (SWAP) program. The purpose of this assessment is to analyze the potential susceptibility of each public drinking water source to contamination, and to supply pertinent information so that decision-makers voluntarily can develop and implement appropriate preventive measures to protect these water sources. The Safe Drinking Water Act requires that the public water system and its consumers be informed of the assessment results.
