- Large scale electrical energy storage in Colorado
- The Electrical Energy Storage Research Group at the University of Colorado at Boulder has compiled this report to summarize research findings and to increase the understanding of renewable energy storage opportunities in Colorado. This report investigates three large scale energy storage options: pumped hydroelectric energy storage (PHES), underground pumped hydroelectric storage (UPHS), and compressed air energy storage (CAES). The information is leveraged off of one year of research work. As Colorado agriculture continues to use significant amounts of energy and water, renewable energy becomes a more and more desirable agricultural energy source., researchers: Jonah Levine, Gregory Martin, Richard Moutoux ; advisor Frank Barnes., "Date: June 30, 2007.", "This report provides a detailed summary of research conducted at the University of Colorado in Boulder, beginning in the summer of 2006. The research is funded by CERI.", Online resource; title from PDF cover (viewed June 2018)
