Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has dynamic modulus (E*), and flow number (N) database of different mixes from different regions of Colorado. The sensitivities of these mixes considering factors such as mix types, aggregates source, volumetric properties, contractors, preparation times, binders, etc. on E*, and N, and on the pavement performances are investigated in this study., Md Rashadul Islam and Sylvester A. Interviews discussing CDOT's response to the September 2013 flood that damaged roads and bridges from mountain canyons to the eastern plains. Besides monitoring the damage to roads and bridges CDOT played a role in evacuating 18,000 people. The governor challenged CDOT to get the roads and bridges sufficiently repaired by December 2013 to allow safe travel. CDOT met the challenge and immediately began planning permanently rebuilt roads to handle a 100 year flood., video file MPEG 136MB, CDOT's story (6 min. 23 sec.) -- 1 year anniversary (4 min. 11 sec.), Produced by Colorado Department of Transportation., Online resource; title from CDOT website (viewed July 2019)
The use of vibratory steel rollers during breakdown compaction of hot mix asphalt overlays on asphalt pavements containing crack sealants appears to exacerbate the presence of bumps and transverse cracks in the new asphalt directly over and in front of the cracks. the new asphalt directly over and in front of the cracks., "November 2009.", "Report No. CDOT-2009-9, Final Report."--Cover., Includes bibliographical references (p. 25-26), Mode of access: World Wide Web.
We present results from a field campaign to measure seasonal snow depth at Cameron Pass, Colorado, using a synthetic ultrawideband software-defined radar (SDRadar) implemented in commercially available Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) software-defined radio hardware and flown on a small hexacopter unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). We coherently synthesize an ultrawideband signal from stepped frequency 50-MHz subpulses across 600-2100-MHz frequency bands using a novel nonuniform nonlinear synthetic wideband waveform reconstruction technique that minimizes sweep time and completely eliminates problematic grating lobes and other processing artifacts traditionally seen in stepped waveform synthesis., Samuel Pager [and four others]., "April 2023.", Includes bibliographical references (pages 37-39), Report number CDOT-2023-03., Online resource; title from PDF cover (viewed March 2025)

The Southeast Corridor Multimodal Project was created to improve transportation throughout the booming south I-25 and I-225 corridors. This project will introduce light rail transit along side highway expansion. And for the first time, an effort will be made to look at pedestrian and cycling improvements throughout the entire corridor as a part of the transportation solution., "December 1999.", "Southeast EIS Corridor."--Cover., Includes bibliographical references., Mode of access: World Wide Web.
