Accelerated bridge construction utilizing precast pier caps on state highway 69 over Turkey Creek, Huerfano County, CO
Accelerated bridge construction utilizing precast pier caps on state highway 69 over Turkey Creek, Huerfano County, CO
The purpose of this report is to document Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) techniques on IBRD (Innovative Bridge Research and Development) project 102470 for the construction of Bridge N-16-Q on State Highway 69 over Turkey Creek. The project demonstrated faster pier erection by utilizing precast pier caps to eliminate concrete cure time from the critical path in the construction schedule., Richard Osmum, Hoang H. Adaptive signal timing comparison between the insync and quictrac adaptive signal systems installed in Colorado
Adaptive signal timing comparison between the insync and quictrac adaptive signal systems installed in Colorado
Adaptive signal control uses real-time data collected by system detectors to optimize signal timing for each intersection in the corridor. The use of real-time data means that signal timing along the corridor changes to accommodate the traffic patterns at any given time of the day. Test systems were set up in Greeley and Woodland Park, Colorado., Description based on online resource; title from PDF cover; (viewed January 2013), "July 2012.", "Report No. CDOT-2012-6, Final Report.", Includes bibliographical references (p. 56-57).

Air quality action plan : implementation of air quality policy 1901.0
Air quality action plan : implementation of air quality policy 1901.0
This Air Quality Action Plan is the first step in implementing the CDOT Air Quality Policy Directive 1901. CDOT's air quality policy promotes a forward looking vision of sustainable fleet management to effectively control internal transportation emissions and guides public outreach and education to further the understanding of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and mobile source air toxics (MSATs). This Air Quality Action Plan outlines proactive strategies designed to reduce transportation related GHG, air toxics and other related pollutant emissions statewide, thereby reducing the need to negotiate such measures in an ad hoc manner. The Air Quality Action Plan targets program development encompassing transit and sustainable community development, multi-modal freight movement and efficiency, operational highway management, congestion and idling reduction, innovations in fueling, engine maintenance and monitoring, retrofits, and alternative vehicle technologies., "May 23, 2012.", Bibliography: page 29., Description based on online resource; title from PDF cover; (viewed May 2015)
