- Examining opioid and heroin-related drug overdose in Colorado
- Nationally and in Colorado, opioid use disorders have emerged as a significant public health concern. Starting in the 1990s, opioid prescriptions (or, pain medications such as oxycodone, hydrocodone, and their combination with acetaminophen) began to rise nationwide. The dramatic increase in use has been associated with dependency, addiction, and other adverse health events including, but not limited to: heroin use disorders, spread of hepatitis infections and HIV, and fatal drug overdose., Allison Rosenthal, Kirk Bol, Barbara Gabella., "November 2016.", Includes bibliographical references (page 10)., Online resource; title from PDF caption; (viewed April 2019)

- Exploratory analysis of ozone dynamics in the Pueblo region during summer 2015
- Ground-level ozone (the primary constituent of smog) is the most complex, difficult to control, and pervasive of the six principal air pollutants. Unlike other pollutants, ozone is not usually emitted directly into the air, but at ground-level is formed via photochemical reactions among NOx and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the presence of sunlight. Scientific evidence indicates that ground-level ozone not only affects people with impaired respiratory systems (such as asthmatics), but healthy adults and children as well., prepared by the Technical Services Program, Air Pollution Control Division, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment., "July 19, 2016.", Online resource; title from PDF cover (viewed April 2023), AOCD-TS-B1
