The Colorado Cooperative Program for Environmental Health Assessments has performed a variety of health consultation activities on the Schlage Lock Company site. The Colorado Cooperative Program for Environmental Health Assessments (CCPEHA) was initially contacted in July of 2007 to assist with community concerns regarding consumption of fruits and vegetables from domestic gardens irrigated with contaminated groundwater.
