Hunting and fishing are an important and sizable portion of Colorado's tourism economy. Trip and equipment expenditure estimates for wildlife watching activities away from home rely on much of the same surveys and methodology as the hunting and fishing estimates. However, wildlife watching activities are often bundled with other activities.
This report assesses the impact of Trinidad State Junior College (TSJC) on the regional economy and the benefits generated by the college for students, taxpayers, and society. The results of this study show that TSJC creates a positive net impact on the regional economy and generates a positive return on investment for students, taxpayers, and society.
