The renovation of the science laboratories and preparation area at Pikes Peak Community College's Centennial Campus is currently rated as high priority. The laboratories are a part of the original construction of the campus which opened in 1968 and has not been upgraded in 31 years. As enrollments in the science curriculum continue to increase, the existing space needs to be renovated to meet the teaching and technology demands.
