The scope of the Recovery and Contract Compliance audit for the State of Colorado included accounts payable transactions during the period July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2010 for all Colorado State agencies excluding Higher Education and Medicaid payments. The objective of the audit was to perform a non-intrusive audit, find hard dollar recoveries, provide solid process improvement recommendations for the State of Colorado and communicate any potential fraud issues noted during the review.
