This memorandum provides an overview of recent audit recommendations for selected executive departments. Staff reviewed audit reports from 2007 to the present for departments over which the Judiciary committees have oversight responsibilities. Those departments include the: Department of Corrections; Department of Law; Department of Public Safety; Judicial Department; and Governor's Office of Homeland Security. The memorandum provides a brief summary of the findings of each audit report as well as a table illustrating the auditor's recommendations and the department's response to such recommendations.
