Abstract: Colorado State University Libraries has been involved in multiple digitization projects since 2000. with the growth of the number of projects (and project managers) and the development of an Institutional Repository, the Libraries decided to develop a data dictionary, including input guidelines of core metadata elements that would guide project managers at CSU Libraries in metadata planning for their specific projects.
