- This document is provided by the Colorado Division of Water Resources (DWR) Dam Safety Branch (DSB) as a technical guide for the engineering community involved with the design and construction of dams under the Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS) and the Rules and Regulations for Dam Safety and Dam Construction (Rules). This Project Review Guide is not intended to instruct engineers on how to design and construct dams. Engineers working on dams in Colorado are expected to be familiar with the current state of the practice in dam design.
