Assist in the protection, conservation, and management of Colorado's aquatic animal resources through the monitoring, investigation, and management of aquatic animal health in state fish hatcheries, research facilities, free-ranging public fisheries and free-ranging aquatic animal populations, as well as aquatic animal resources in the private sector by providing diagnostics, research, regulated pathogen inspections, and laboratory analysis.
