- HAZUS final report : loss estimates for earthquake scenarios in Colorado using HAZUS-MH
- A program called HAZUS-MH (Hazards U.S. - Multi-Hazard) developed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) can estimate losses from natural disasters such as earthquakes. A strong earthquake in Colorado would be comparable to Hurricane Katrina considering the lack of government preparedness and the myriad of unforeseen consequences brought on by such a large-scale event. Earthquakes can be major disasters, and they pose a very real threat to many areas of Colorado. The first step towards preparedness is to create awareness of what could happen - that is what this report seeks to accomplish., compiled by Lauren Heerschap., "May 2006.", Six discs issued with the print document were not scanned: HAZUS multi-hazard loss estimation software; HAZUS GIS & miscellaneus earthquake files; HAZUS results 2006; CO1 boundary files for MRI release; HAZUS final report May 2006; HAZUS presentations May 2006., Online resource; title from PDF title page (viewed March 2018)

This bill sunsets July 1, 2015 and will be updated and extended upon legislative review and approval., Cover title., Mode of access: World Wide Web.

- Habitat conservation and connectivity plan
- This project originated as a recommendation from previous Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) and Colorado Department of Natural Resources planning and assessment efforts for big game species--CPW 2020 Status Report: Big Game Winter Range and Migration Corridors and DNR Opportunities to Improve Sensitive Habitat and Movement Routes for Colorado's Big Game Species Report. One of the highest priorities identified in these two reports was the development of a Habitat Conservation and Connectivity Plan (HCCP). This plan defines priority wildlife species, priority wildlife landscapes, and movement corridors that connect these landscapes. The overall goal is for CPW to select a subset of watersheds to focus habitat conservation and restoration in landscapes that are of highest priority for focal species. This plan will help focus CPW's work and facilitate the use of limited staff capacity and funding in the most efficient manner. A comprehensive, coordinated, and strategic approach to large-scale habitat management and protection will benefit many internal CPW programs and help communicate CPW's priority areas to our conservation partners., "December 2024.", Includes bibliographic references (pages 73-74), Cover., Print version record.
