- Management review manual
- A tool for assessing the functioning of local agencies under the supervision and oversight of the Colorado Department of Human Services. Management review process was developed by CDHS to assist community-based agencies examine and improve their capacity to deliver services at the local level. The process is considered a complimentary and supportive way for CDHS to fulfill its supervisory responsibilities under Colorado's state-supervised, county-administered social services system. It also allows CDHS to assess and improve its own performance. Because Management Reviews are complex to administer, and because they can provoke unanticipated responses from the local community, it is important that they be initiated with care., Document lacks cover, Description based on online resource; title from first page in PDF preface (viewed January 2014)

- Manual on supervision
- This manual was written as a guide to new county directors to help them supervise county department of social services staff in accomplishing agency goals and objectives. We define supervision as the ability to achieve planned results through staff who report directly to you. This may sound simple but it will consume about 80 percent of the time you spend managing the county department of social services. You manage the department through the work of others, so you have to be prepared to plan, lead, direct, delegate, teach, support and correct the people you supervise; who in turn, do same for those they supervise., Lacks title page and attachments., Description based on online resource; title from first paragraph of PDF preface (viewed January 2014)

To achieve these goals, Colorado's WSS work plan has focused on outcomes and deliverables in the areas of administrative efficiency, access to benefits, outreach, and family well-being., a product of the Colorado Work Support Strategies, Family Well-Being Work Group., Bibliography: pages 24-25., Online resource; title from PDF cover (viewed December 2018)
