Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a serious form of abuse committed against a current or former boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse, or other romantic partner. IPV is often not a single, isolated event; rather it is an ongoing, violent dynamic which may ebb and flow in dangerous cycles. Unfortunately, IPV is pervasive in the United States; over 12 million people in the country experience IPV each year, and more than 80 million people are victimized at some point in their lifetime. These statistics likely present an underestimate, as there are known issues with under reporting of IPV experience, Julie Kafka, Ethan Jamison, Kirk Bol., "October 2019.", Includes bibliographical references (page 14)., Online resource; title from PDF caption (viewed November 2020)

These reports discusses results for ambient air toxics monitoring conducted by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) at the long-term trends site at Grand Junction, Colorado. This site was established as part of the "rural" area component of the EPA National Air Toxics Trends Study. Since that time, the EPA has reconsidered, and decided that the site is more indicative of urban concentrations, and has changed the designation of the site from rural to urban. Most of the compounds detected at Grand Junction are found in urban air nationwide. The majority of compounds can be related to motor vehicle sources. These include formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes, and styrene., prepared by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, Air Pollution Control Division, Technical Services Program., Online resource; title from PDF cover of 2004 report (viewed September 2014)
