This memorandum discusses Colorado law concerning the expungement of juvenile delinquency records, including the offenses that may not be expunged. It also covers the sealing of adult arrest records, criminal records other than convictions, and conviction records.
Following a rigid set of testing protocols, data is being collected on highway traffic noise characteristics along with safety and durability aspects of the associated pavements. This report completes a comprehensive, long-term study to determine if particular pavement surface types and/or textures can be used as quieter pavements, and possibly be used to help satisfy FHWA noise mitigation requirements.
In this study, the Regional Transportation District's (RTD's) light rail operations were examined for pollutant production and runoff. Conclusions from the study: Water leaving ballasted tracks carries only a small fraction of the heavy metals that are introduced into tracks from the light rail operations. Heavy metal concentrations at the most heavily traveled light rail station showed that pollutant concentrations were far below the regulatory limits.

This document is in response to House Bill 1294 enacted by the General Assembly during the 2012 legislative session. By December 31, 2012, the Department of Public Health and Environment, the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, and the Department of Human Services shall develop an implementation plan, in consultation with industry representatives, to resolve differing requirements and to eliminate obsolete, redundant rules and reporting, monitoring, compliance, auditing certification, licensing, and work processes pertaining to the regulation of community residential homes.
School readiness describes the status and ongoing progress a child makes within the domains of physical well-being and motor development, social and emotional development, language and comprehension development, and cognition and general knowledge. By monitoring each child's progress across multiple domains, teachers, parents, schools, and caregivers can provide needed support to ensure each child's success in school.
Colorado's forested landscapes are essential to our well-being. Yet, these same landscapes are threatened by wildfires, insects and disease. Our ability to manage for these changes is limited by shrinking budgets, a declining forest products industry and volatile energy prices. Our current policy efforts should link forest health improvements and forest industry vitality to developing more efficient forest product manufacturing and encouraging renewable energy projects.
