Abstract: This manual is a guidance to standardize CDOT sign layout practices. CDOT standards are based upon the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and Standard Highway Signs Book. This manual is to be used in conjunction with the Standard Highway Signs (SHS) Design Guidelines. CDOT Sign Shop capabilities are also explained for guidance on special signing issues.
