Feed incidents, whether accidental or intentional, have the potential to cause adverse health effects for large segments of the animal population. Mitigating the consequences of such emergencies will require the capability to respond to and recover from chemical, biological or physical contaminants and other hazards that may affect the safety of food and agricultural products. This document describes the response actions of CDA and partnering agencies to such feed incidents.
